On Sunday 18th August 2014, Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT), signed investment agreements with five (5) new Nobin Udyoktas(NU) (New Entrepreneurs). This was the thirteenth (13th) batch of Nobin Udyoktas signing investment agreements with GTT and this takes the total number of NU projects signed to One Hundred and Four (104).
These aspiring entrepreneurs are all children of Grameen Bank families who plan to start new businesses or scale up existing ones. Grameen Telecom Trust under its Nobin Udyokta program is providing assistance to them through investments and other ancillary services. The aim is to establish the youth as entrepreneurs who will be self employed and beyond self employment will create job for others.
